With daily morning Ashtanga Mysore-style practice and various afternoon workshops, there is space to dive deeper into your individual practice — whether you are new to Ashtanga or already experienced.

Morning practice is centered around Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in primarily Mysore-style self-practice with individual guidance, so you learn how to build a sustainable practice you can take home. On the last morning we will have a led class.

Afternoon sessions are workshop-style and designed to support your personal practice: vinyasa and transitions (jump-through/jump-back foundations), plus playful drills for handstands and other inversions, backbends and acroyoga. We’ll also exchange about Blue Zone lifestyle and nutrition — grounded in a scientific perspective — and explore simple, practical ways to integrate them into everyday life.

Classes will be held in English and German. The schedule includes two free afternoons — we’ll decide together what we feel like exploring, with a few local hidden gems to choose from. There will also be plenty of free time to relax on the sea-view terrace, meet new friends, or simply unwind at the beach (about a 15-minute walk).

SALOMÉ

Salomé is an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher and dedicated practitioner who has been walking the path of Ashtanga since 2018. She spends the bigger part of the year in Mysore, India, where she practices, assists and constantly learns with her teacher Vijay Kumar by whom she is certified to teach and adjust primary and secondary series. She brings this traditional method into modern life in a grounded, approachable way.and brings this traditional method into modern life in a grounded, approachable way.

Her teaching is precise and warm, alignment-based, and individual — making the asanas accessible to each body through clear guidance and soft yet firm adjustments. Alongside Mysore-style and led Ashtanga, she also teaches handstands&inversions, backbends, transitions and AcroYoga. She has worked over years for international teacher trainings (Ulu Yoga Bali) and her background in Molecular Biotechnology adds a practical, science-based lens — always down to earth.
