The training is aimed towards experienced practitioners and Yoga teachers who are looking to dive deeper into the wonderful practice and philosophy of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. This is your chance to deepen your practice and understanding of this rich tradition, the source of multible modern Yoga styles like Jivamukti, Rocket, Vinyasa, etc. If you are unsure if the retreat is the right level for you, feel free to reach out.

The retreat is limited to 10 participants, to ensure quality over quantity, ensuring individual attention for each participant.

Daily Yoga practice in the mornings include the primary and intermediate series of Ashtanga Vinyasa – guided and in self practice (Mysore style), traditional Pranayama techniques, Meditation, Kriyas with an emphasis on the eight limbs of Yoga. Afternoon sessions include philosophy of Ashtanga Vinyasa, individual approach to the practice, jump through aka Vinyasa, armbalances, inversions like handstands and forearm stands, therapeutics, adjustments and alignment.

The classes will be held in English and are around 4-4,5h per day, except of 2 free afternoons, as well as on arrival and departure day. This accumulates to around 25h of training time, which gives you plenty of time off a swell. In the free time you can enjoy the stunning rooftop overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, get to meet new friends or just relax on the beach and soak in the smooth rays of the autumn sun. The time of the year, being off season, is also perfect for a swim in the crystal-clear waters without masses of tourists around.

Benjamin is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for over a decade. He practices in the lineage of Yog Acharya Vijay Kumar, an inspiring young teacher from Mysore/India, but also practices various other styles of Yoga focusing on versatility and freedom to move. 

As a physiotherapist, his style of teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is easily accessible for everyone, following an individual & holistic therapeutical approach to Yoga practice.
